The Foundation Day at Swami Vivekananda Institution for Teachers Training was celebrated on 12th January with enthusiasm, fun and frolic.
On this occasion, the institution got an opportunity to deliberate on some of the tough times it has faced, celebrate its history and the incredible ways in which it has bonded together as a community of students, teachers ,staff and college administration.
The energy and passion of the students was visible in the performances that they put up. The students came up with lovely cards, songs, poems and shared the messages . It was followed by cultural programmes and the cake cutting ceremony. The teachers and staff members cherished the moments, shared their experiences and promised to collaborate their efforts for the glorification of institution.
“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, president of India and above all a teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been observed as teachers’ day.
Students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural show incorporated poems, songs, dance and drama. They also entertained teachers by arranging fun games for them. They indicated that, teachers play a vital role in making their pupil accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings.
Independence Day was celebrated at Swami Vivekananda Institution for Teachers Training with great fervour. On this patriotic occasion, a special assembly was held where the students showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performances. They presented their views in honour of their motherland and sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters. A beautiful rendition from students transcended the ambience. The school was beautifully embellished using colourful rangoli designs, followed by a musical performance depicting different facets of our glorious freedom struggle. The scintillating online activities instilled patriotic fervour among students.
